Boxability International has been on a mission to transform lives through the power of boxing-based skills since October 2022. Our nonprofit enables individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities to unlock their hidden potential and gain confidence in themselves through tailored training techniques derived from the world of professional boxing.
We’re here to prove that disability doesn’t have to be an obstacle—for some, it can even serve as a platform for resilience and triumph. Through generous community donations, Boxability International offers a unique opportunity for its participants to experience true success in life—all because they had access to something so special with a profound impact.
So let’s join together in this powerful mission and experience how far love can go when we give people the chance they deserve!

Dino & Brian
In the bustling labs of a renowned Chicago university, Brian B. Roman, PhD., delves deep into the worlds of molecular physiology, cancer, and the science of MRI imaging. But beyond the laboratory, his heart holds a story. Brian’s late wife, Laura, faced the profound challenges of brain and spinal cord cancer, grappling with paralysis and cognitive hurdles. During their journey, moments of shared activities between Laura and their young son were rare gems. As her steadfast anchor, Brian recognized the gaps in her therapy and now understands how the rhythm and strategy of boxing could have uplifted Laura’s spirit and confidence. Enter Boxability International: a program that could’ve painted Brian and Laura’s days with fun, therapy, and cherished memories. For Brian, Boxibility is deeply personal.
“Through the examples of the Boxability families, I can see how our young son and my wife would have benefited and not only could have strengthened their bond but also would have inspired them to overcome any challenge together.”
“Through the power of Boxability International’s program, I have seen the athletes prove that obstacles are just opportunities in disguise, as they teach each other the strength of determination and the beauty of unwavering support.”
In the heart of Miami Beach, FL, the world-famous 5th St Gym stands tall. Its co-owner, Dino Spencer, is a dedicated boxing coach and martial artist. Over the years, fighters from every corner of the globe have sought his guidance, with many hailing from Italy, drawn to his expertise. But beyond the ring, Dino’s true passion shines brightest. With Boxability International, he’s extended his hands to teach boxing to those facing life’s toughest battles—from Parkinson’s to Down Syndrome. Among those Dino has helped is his dear friend Ben, a spirited young man grappling with the aftermath of a spinal cord injury. Through boxing, Dino witnessed the transformative power of the sport on Ben—a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Each punch and each move became a dance of hope and recovery. This profound impact fuels Dino’s dedication, inspiring all who join the Boxability International journey.
“The personal satisfaction I get from helping someone go from ‘not using their arms’ to using them is greater than any boxing title belt or money.”
